Job Summary

What is the opportunity?
The Vice President or Director, Corporate Banking - Power, Utilities and Infrastructure (“PU&I”) candidate will be responsible for client coverage, corporate debt structuring and execution, portfolio management, and product cross-selling for the PU&I industry group in the U.S.

What will you do?

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Structure and execute lending transactions for the PU&I sector in the US. Scope of transactions includes acquisition loans, bridge loans, corporate revolvers and project or asset financingsLead or assist in relationship coverage across the U.S. PU&I sectors for Corporate BankingLead or secondary responsibility for the identification of cross-sell opportunities in coordination with Investment Banking and Fixed Income coverageLead the credit underwriting process and collaborate with requisite internal stakeholders to execute the transactionPreparation of credit submission materials and other documentation related to the transaction approval and closing processNegotiate requisite legal documents related to executing transactionsProactive portfolio management including timely updates on client and industry performance

What do you need to success?

Advanced degree with a focus in Business, Economics, Mathematics or other quantitative fields, CFA or other relevant professional designation, or acceptable work experience in corporate lending/financeMinimum 10 of years of related work experience in corporate finance and/or corporate bankingRelevant experience with the PU&I industryCorporate lending experienceProject finance experience preferredStrong financial modeling abilities, as well as superior writing and presentation skillsExcellent interpersonal skills with ability to maintain relationships at all levels within and outside of the organizationAbility to take initiative and function independently balanced with strong team skillsDevelop and train junior team members

The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $225,000 - $275,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs.  This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
