Emerson is embarking on a major digital transformation journey, transitioning from an on-premise technology footprint to a modern, cloud-based ecosystem. We are seeking a visionary Vice President of Digital Supply Chain Information Technology to lead this evolution, driving the cloud migration strategy for supply chain, global logistics, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), and Smart Factory technologies.
This leader will be responsible for developing and implementing an end-to-end digital supply chain strategy, balancing the complexities of legacy systems with the adoption of Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM and other sophisticated technologies. The role requires a blend of strategic vision and hands-on execution, ensuring Emerson’s supply chain, logistics, and manufacturing operations are digitally enabled for future growth. You will also lead the talent and career development within the team ensuring that current and future leaders can meet the challenges of the business.
Reporting to the Vice President of Shared Applications & Digital Transformation, this position will lead a distributed team and be responsible for a sophisticated portfolio of digital initiatives, ensuring each project delivers measurable business value.

**In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:**
**Digital Supply Chain & Cloud Transformation**
+ Develop and implement a global digital strategy for supply chain, logistics, and manufacturing technology, ensuring alignment with Emerson’s corporate objectives.
+ Lead the transition from an on-premise supply chain technology landscape to Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM, ensuring a seamless migration while maintaining business continuity.
+ Drive the adoption of cloud-first solutions, using AI, IoT, automation, and predictive analytics to enhance supply chain visibility, resilience, and efficiency.
+ Ensure legacy system integration and phased decommissioning while modernizing supply chain, logistics, and manufacturing technologies.
**Global Logistics, PLM & Smart Factory Enablement**
+ Supervise the digital transformation of Emerson’s global logistics operations, optimizing transportation management, warehouse automation, shipment tracking, and trade compliance.
+ Own the technology roadmap for Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), ensuring seamless integration with supply chain, engineering, and manufacturing functions.
+ Orchestrate Smart Factory projects by highlighting IoT, automation powered by artificial intelligence, and predictive maintenance to boost manufacturing efficiency and quality.
+ Serve as an SME to related Functional Business Communities (ENG, Manufacturing and Maintenance) delivering Smart Factory standard processes
**Portfolio, Budget & Value Management**
+ Run and prioritize a sophisticated portfolio of digital supply chain, logistics, PLM, and Smart Factory projects across multiple business groups.
+ Ensure technology investments drive measurable business value, whether through revenue growth, operational efficiency, cost reduction, or enhanced customer experience.
+ Continuously optimize technology budgets, balancing strategic investments with financial field.
+ Define and supervise critical metrics for digital supply chain performance, ensuring continuous optimization and accountability.
**Leadership & Global Team Management**
+ Lead and develop a high-performing, distributed team focused on supply chain, logistics, PLM, and Smart Factory technology solutions.
+ Cultivate a culture of collaboration, innovation, and agility, ensuring IT and business alignment.
+ Efficiently navigate and lead in a matrixed environment, working across IT, operations, finance, and business units to drive digital transformation.
+ Collaborate with C-suite executives, supply chain, operations, and finance leaders to achieve business goals through effective partnerships.
**Execution & Business Impact**
+ Define and implement a multi-year cloud migration roadmap, ensuring a magnificent transition while maintaining operational stability.
+ Lead technology investments, balancing legacy system maintenance with cloud transformation.
+ Establish critical metrics to measure digital supply chain performance, driving continuous optimization.
+ Ensure strong governance, cybersecurity, and compliance across all supply chain, logistics, and manufacturing technology platforms.
+ Completes long-range planning to support the overall goals of the Company
+ May perform other duties and responsibilities as required

**For This Role, You Will Need:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Supply Chain, Business, or Engineering;
+ Relevant years of leadership experience in supply chain technology, logistics, PLM, or Smart Factory solutions within a global industrial or manufacturing environment commensurate with the level of this position.
+ Validated expertise in leading cloud transformations, with experience migrating from on-premise to Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM or similar platforms.
+ Strong background in digital logistics, warehouse automation, transportation management, and global trade compliance technologies.
+ Experience leading PLM digital transformation initiatives, integrating engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing operations.
+ Deep knowledge of AI, IoT, predictive analytics, and Smart Factory technologies to enhance manufacturing efficiency and automation.
+ Consistent record of leading large, geographically dispersed teams, balancing strategy with hands-on execution.
+ Proven understanding of operations leading multifunctional teams & manufacturing processes
+ Able to travel Domestic and International to meet business needs

**Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:**
+ MBA or advanced degree preferred.
+ 15+ years of leadership experience in supply chain technology, logistics, PLM, or Smart Factory solutions within a global industrial or manufacturing environment.
