We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Vice President – Business Consulting

Principal responsibilities

Sees the 'bigger picture' and assesses relationships between recommended projects and business performance. Good understanding of business domain, functional goals.Responsible for monitoring, reporting, and managing budgets and expenditure. Facilitate and coordinate all governance forums. Responsible for carrying out ad-hoc projects under the direction of Department Head. Establish quality standards in terms of timeliness of the projects and accuracy of the deliverables and deployments to Countries/Regions.Owns delivery of high-quality modules for the business stakeholders across one of more regionsComplete other related duties as assigned and support the Company’s Diversity programs.Ensure adherence with all the applicable compliance policies (Data security policy, AML, operational risk, Functional manual, Group Compliance Manual, Audit recommendations, Internal Control requirements, regulatory guidelines etc.) and business standards of Organization as applicable. Take timely action on Audit comments and be able to demonstrate compliance with Internal controls.Given the dynamic and ever-changing global business situation, the incumbent of this role is expected to surmise the business priority and enable the effective delivery of projects and analysis and meet the ever-changing business priorities. The role holder will be expected to go to the heart of the business problem under consideration and provide a solution rather than simply present the data.The role holder is required to take quick decisions in situations where complete information/ data might not exist and he/ she would need to apply business knowledge intuition to make best case recommendations. The role holder shall also be expected to guide and lead team members from a functional perspective and help them build up a strong business understanding. The jobholder will continually reassess the operational risks associated with the role and inherent in the business, taking account of changing economic or market conditions, legal and regulatory requirements, operating procedures and practices, management restructurings, and the impact of new technology.The jobholder will also adhere to and be able to demonstrate adherence to internal controls. This will be achieved by adherence to all relevant procedures, keeping appropriate records and, where appropriate, by the timely implementation of internal and external audit points, including issues raised by external regulators.

14 years’ experience required, preferably in banking and consumer lending. At least a bachelor’s degree in mathematics/ statistics/ economics/Engineering or equivalent; MBA is a plus, Relevant experience in analytics specifically in the fields like Operation Analytics and Data AnalyticsStrong understanding of consumer lending products like Credit Cards, Mortgages, Personal Loans and Deposit products. Lead/mentor a team of individuals to provide analytical and strategic solutions to business. Focus on driving efficiency gains and enhancement of processes. Closely interact with the FCS GSC sites and Regional teams and Global/Central teams to understand requirements and lead the team of c20 people to build various analytical solutions related to Fraud.Act as an SME/consultant on a functional area, conceptualize analytical solution for the business problem at hand for multiple businesses/regions Lead analytical projects and/or statistical models to include project design, data collection, database design, analysis, and presentation of results.Establish quality standards in terms of timeliness of the projects and accuracy of the deliverables.Ability to be flexible and productive in a fast-paced environment with geographically distributed teams.Excellent communication skills with technical (the team) and non-technical (senior management in region) counterparts; being able to "translate" between the two worlds is essentialStrong project management skills. Model monitoring and validation Capabilities for traditional and Advance machine learning models. Knowledge of forecasting and statistical modelling techniques, market research and multivariate analysis tools (e.g., factor and cluster analysis, conjoint analysis etc.) is a plus.Prior experience working on Visualization and dash boarding tools like Qlik/Tableau is an added advantage.
