About this role
The Taiwan ETF market is undergoing a period of significant change, driven by a combination of regulatory and structural factors and new market entrants. BlackRock has a leading presence in Taiwan and our global platform, the breadth of our investment expertise and risk management capabilities enable us to provide truly differentiated solutions to our clients. As we grow our ETF business in Taiwan, we are looking for an experienced sales professional to develop client strategy, build distribution partnerships and drive coverage of the wealth market.
This exciting position within the Taiwan Wealth team is responsible for ETF business development and prospecting and servicing clients in Taiwan with a focus on the growing our ETF business in the retail segment. The role is based in Taipei.
Key Responsibilities:
Building access to ETF distribution networks and driving distribution partnerships for ETF business.Collaborating with Blackrock Global Markets (BGM) and Global Product Solutions (“GPS”) to develop ETF platform and drive product innovation.Raise the profile and usage of BlackRock ETF products within the targeted client segments. Deliver AUM and revenue targets for the business. Orchestrate a team-based approach and leverage the Firm’s resources at appropriate times in the sales cycle to broaden and deepen the usage of BlackRock ETFs.Understand the local ecosystem and distributors’ requirements to drive ETF business growth.Provide and deliver presentations for workshops, seminars and individual client meetings as appropriate to represent ETF products and build a broader understanding of ETF usage.Work closely with product and marketing team to facilitate ETF usage among retail investors through various emerging channels.Key Qualifications:
5+ years’ experience in relevant financial services roles, such as investment/portfolio/product strategy, relationship management. 3+ years' experience in servicing ETF related businesses.Native Mandarin and Fluent English speakers.Sales, product research, or investment team experience gained from working in a high-quality financial firm selling ETFs, mutual funds, cash equities, or fixed income products are preferred. Proven expertise in promoting investment products to sophisticated clients. Individuals should have extensive experience in dealing with clients. Relevant client relationships a preference.Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the processes and platforms in the business model of clients.Understanding of product set – preferably ETFs, mutual funds, and mandate business.Experience with index or index linked fund products is an advantage.Understanding of the regulatory requirement and sense of the medium and long-term opportunities for ETFs.Self-motivated individual, with a commitment to excellence.Outstanding relationship management skills, experience, and ability to become a trusted client advisor.Strong time management, interpersonal skills, and presentation skills.Our benefits
