Your Role at KIK 

As the Vice President of Supply Chain, you will be instrumental in shaping and delivering on KIK’s ambitious vision to accelerate our Pool line of business into new geographies, distribution channels, and product categories. You will take our Supply Chain maturity and capabilities to the next level, focusing on our strategic direction, capabilities, processes, and tools. Day-to-day, you will lead a team of supply chain professionals specialized in Logistics, and Inventory Management. Specifically, your team will be responsible for delivering excellent performance in inventory control, vendor management, quality, and operating costs. 

What You’ll Be Doing 

Develop inventory planning and distribution strategies.  Diagnose supply chain challenges, anticipate evolving areas of growth, and ensure prompt support for necessary system, process, and physical improvements.  Partner to optimize logistics networks and evaluate the impact of proposed logistics changes, such as routing, shipping modes, utilization, and carriers across the distribution network.  Set and execute the long-term vision and strategy for the function, focusing on key differentiators, new innovations, capabilities, and team structure.  Establish a strategic approach to all aspects of our supply chain, driving value for our customers, optimizing cost, enhancing agility, and lowering risk.  Collaborate with our Technology team to uplevel our tools and systems, driving best-in-class data visibility and decision-making.  Own the P&L for major cost categories and drive cost improvements across raw materials, inbound freight, warehousing, and outbound shipping.  Build dynamic performance metrics and analyses to drive efficiency and operational decision-making.  Oversee the inventory planning process and maintain supply levels that optimize manufacturing plans and meet high growth in demand.  Foster strategic relationships with many of the company’s most important external partners, including raw material suppliers, logistics providers, and advisors.  Implement negotiation strategies to maximize leverage control, steer complex situations, and create the best outcome for the business.  Oversee management and direction of the Supply Chain team, including hiring, performance management, and organizational structure  Serve as a thought partner to other senior leaders as a key member of the Operations leadership team.  Lead continuous improvement and operational excellence activities.  Drive a culture of innovation and success that values diverse voices, talents, identities, backgrounds and experiences. 

What You’ll Bring 

Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Engineering  Six Sigma Black Belt, PMP, Lean Certifications a plus.  10 years of people leadership experience with 15 years or more of supply chain experience in a consumer-packaged goods or similar manufacturing environment  Supply chain leadership experience at a large and/or publicly traded company  Ability to lead long-term, cross-functional strategy efforts with minimal guidance  Track record of P&L ownership and driving operational cost improvements  Experience building and leading a high-performing, multi-layered team  Successful track record of developing operational excellence and scalable processes  Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills  Working experience in consumer good.  Past operations role at a high-growth company Proficiency in NetSuite, data visualization software, or data warehouse solutions  Familiarity with operations-specific software platforms (ERP, MRP, WMS, TMS, etc.)
