Vice President, Operations (RVP)

The Vice President, Operations (Regional Operations) (RVP) has accountability for the quality, compliance, team health, financial performance and growth of their assigned region. They oversee the operational and financial performance of the collection of PACE organizations in their region, inclusive of day centers, clinic operations, and home health services. They work closely with senior WelbeHealth leadership on performance and growth strategies, many of which are transformational in nature. They ensure that services are provided compliant with regulation and at the quality that meets or exceeds WelbeHealth standards. They partner as dyad with the Chief Clinical Officer and Regional Medical Directors to ensure care excellence and share ownership of all clinical outcomes. They work in partnership with the regional sales teams. The RVP facilitates collaborative relationships across WelbeHealth and stakeholders and manages a high-functioning leadership team that successfully operationalizes WelbeHealth values, healthy team culture and mission.

Essential Job Duties:

\n\nOversees WelbeHealth PACE operations in region with objective and clear top decile clinical quality, participant experience, staff experience, and financial/growth performance.\nHires, develops, inspires and invests in the successful performance and careers of top talent PACE program Executive Directors and other key talent in the region.\nBuilds strong relationships with key external stakeholders in industry associations, government/regulators, and providers in the region and state.\nEnsures WelbeHealth’s “beyond reproach” compliance with applicable Federal, State, and local regulatory and licensing standards.\nOversees the Executive Directors coordination and preparation for WelbeHealth Board meetings.\nParticipates with operations leadership to refine and execute the enterprise operations plan. Participates in and influences strategic planning and broader Welbe initiatives, potentially piloting and/or leading these projects.\nIs able and willing to be onsite in WelbeHealth centers 50%+ of days.\nIs willing and has the ability to work a varied schedule that may include evening nights, weekends and overtime. \n\n

Job Requirements:

\n\nBachelor’s Degree in Health Care Administration, Public Health, Business, Social Welfare, Gerontology or other relevant field. MBA, MHA or master-level equivalency strongly preferred.\nGeography: Strong preference for a candidate located in or willing to relocate to within an hour of a WelbeHealth center.\nFive years’ experience leading a $100 million+ complex healthcare delivery organization with P&L accountabilities, ideally focused on vulnerable seniors.\nDirect experience leading a succession regional organization, with multi-site locations across a broad geography. Strong preference for California regional operational experience. \nExperience launching and stabilizing new locations – both operationally and financially.\nConsistent track record of driving initiatives that improve operations effectiveness and patient experience.\nDemonstrated ability to hire top talent, build high performing teams, and mentoring/developing high potential leaders.\nExperience presiding over a data-driven organization, leveraging reports and data to prioritize and oversee people and projects.\nExperience working with CMS, state health and human service department regulators, and other government stakeholders.\nHighly motivated, inspirational leader who is able to innovatively engage, support and remove barriers for the team to ensure the team consistently meet established goals. \n\n

Salary/Wage base range for this role is $224,800 - $281,000 / year + Bonus + Equity. WelbeHealth offers competitive total rewards package that includes, 401k match, healthcare coverage and a broad range of other benefits. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other qualifications.
