Position Summary:
We are looking for a visionary and results-oriented Vice President of Marketing and Branding to drive our commercial growth and build on the strength of our leadership brands in the marketplace. We seek a hands-on, dynamic Vice President of Marketing and Branding who can seamlessly balance strategic vision with tactical execution. This role is a key leadership position for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to roll up their sleeves to drive results. This role reports to the Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing and is based in Atlanta, GA.

Will bring expertise in both commercial marketing—fueling sales growth through demand generation, go-to-market strategies, digital marketing strategies and customer engagement—and brand marketing, ensuring our company's story is powerfully communicated and leveraged across all channels through brand stewardship.Is an experienced marketing leader who demonstrates hands-on leadership and stays close enough to the work and team to be valued by the business as a true partner.Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing and branding strategy aligned with business strategic initiatives and objectives, focusing on both growth and brand equity.Collaborate with executive leadership to identify and help develop market opportunities, competitive positioning, and expansion strategies.Build and own the marketing roadmap to drive revenue growth, increase market share and enhance customer experience.Gain alignment among business owners regarding project prioritization and resource allocationCommercial Excellence Focus:Lead demand generation efforts, including campaigns, digital marketing, trade shows, and channel partnerships, to support sales pipeline growth.Partner with the sales team to develop effective go-to-market strategies, pricing strategy and models, and customer engagement initiatives.Use data-driven insights to optimize lead generation, customer acquisition, and retention efforts.Translate business leaders’ go-to-market visions into actionable marketing initiatives that will serve as deliverables of Marketing.Leverage salesforce to its full potential from a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) perspective.Support digital transformation through digital communications capabilities, including website and social media to better service, support and reach customers to enhance their experience.Work with the product management team, to develop and deliver all marketing collateral, including the “why” for new product launches.Brand Stewardship and Development:Oversee brand strategy, ensuring consistent messaging and positioning across all touchpoints.Elevate the company’s visibility and reputation through thought leadership, PR, and content strategies, utilizing our brands to drive industry stewardship.Develop creative campaigns that resonate with customers and differentiate us in the market.Hands-On Leadership:Actively engage in day-to-day marketing activities, ensuring plans are executed with precision, efficiency and effectiveness.Mentor and grow the marketing team, fostering a high-performing and collaborative culture with an emphasis on accountability.Market Research:Monitor industry trends and adapt strategies to maintain a competitive edge through market research and competitive analysis.Digital Marketing:Develop and execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy aligned with business goals.Manage brand presence across platformsOversee website strategy, ensuring it is optimized for lead generation and user experience (UX)Develop and execute performance marketing strategies with a focus on ROI.Evaluate and optimize marketing automation platforms (e.g., Pardot).Leverage analytics tools (Google Analytics, CRM data, marketing dashboards) to track campaign effectiveness.Enhance digital customer journey mapping and omnichannel engagement.Leverage AI-driven personalization for targeted marketing campaigns.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred; MBA or advanced degree preferred.10+ years of progressive marketing and brand leadership experience, preferably in manufacturing, technology, or B2B industries.Must have extensive experience and demonstrated execution capabilities with premium brand differentiating marketing strategies.Project management skillset to drive marketing and branding initiatives.Experience with strategy, brand stewardship, pricing, commercialization, new product launches, commercial excellence, and/or customer service.Proven track record of developing and executing marketing strategies that drive revenue growth and enhance brand equity.Deep understanding of digital marketing and communication, analytics, and demand generation tools.Experience in an environment highly recognized for driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.Someone who drives accountability within their team, and the broader organization, ensuring that expectations are clear, and plans are executed. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to develop, inspire and empower teams.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels and across all areas.A hands-on mindset, with the ability to balance high-level strategy with detailed execution.Mueller offers an excellent salary and benefits package.
