Primary Responsibilities

The Vice President, IT Operations, is responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction for KeHE’s IT operations, including application support, infrastructure, and cybersecurity functions. This role will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of our IT systems and infrastructure to support business operations and strategic objectives.

Essential Functions Develop and execute strategic plans for all IT operations, including application support, infrastructure, and cybersecurity to align with business objectives and priorities.Oversee and optimize “keep the lights on” operations of the IT department, including application support, incident management, and problem resolution.Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas of improvement and implement measures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of IT Operations and Support.Establish and oversee incident response and recovery processes, including disaster recovery, to minimize the impact of cyber-attacks and other incidents on business operations.Establish and maintain IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.Manage relationships with external vendors, contractors, and service providers to optimize spend and ensure the delivery of high-quality IT services.Develop and manage budgets for application support, infrastructure, and cybersecurity initiatives. Allocate resources effectively to meet business needs.Oversee the design, implementation, and management of the IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage, and cloud services.Oversee execution of a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy to protect the company's data, systems, and infrastructure from cyber threats and attacks.Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, including infrastructure engineers, cybersecurity analysts, and operations staff. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.Communicate effectively with executive leadership, department heads, and other stakeholders to provide updates on IT operations status and initiatives. Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. 15+ years of experience in IT leadership roles, with extensive experience in application support, infrastructure, and cybersecurity.Experience with M&A activities as it relates to IT Operations and Support.Strong technical background in IT operations, systems, and cloud technologies and best practices.5+ years of experience managing a large-scale application support organization, including legacy systems, cloud, and EDI capabilities.Proven experience developing and executing strategic plans for IT operations.Experience managing budgets exceeding $10M, resources, and vendor relationships.Excellent leadership, communication, and people skills, including board-level experience.
