Vice President, Global Procurement

Lineage is seeking a self-motivated Senior Leader to lead, develop, and manage our global sourcing and procurement team. This is a senior leadership position, accountable for achieving strategic objectives across global sourcing and procurement processes/tools, developing, and managing supplier partner relationships and delivering on agreed savings targets.

Responsibilities:

Lead, mature and manage a best-in-class global sourcing and procurement team.Collaborate effectively with key finance and business leaders to develop the overall vision of the global sourcing and procurement team. Subsequently, define and execute strategy to achieve that vision. Embrace the idea of sourcing and procurement acting as a key business partner to help drive business success rather than operating as a headquarters function.”Identify, evaluate, select, and implement appropriate sourcing strategies across all spend categories in collaboration with key business leaders and stakeholders. Develop and execute a global capex procurement plan including, growth and maintenance capital expenditures.

Partner with the Energy & Sustainability team and ESG Controller to develop and implement strategies for sourcing energy commodities globally, such as natural gas, electricity, and renewable energy.Develop and report metrics appropriate for multinational sourcing and procurement including, but not limited to, supplier partner performance, PO spend compliance, sourcing and procurement related savings and sustainability requirements.Manage relationships with key supplier partners across all spend categories in collaboration with key business leaders and stakeholders.Coordinate acquisition integration activities related to sourcing and procurement.Create a global sourcing and procurement technology roadmap, focused on efficiency, accuracy, controls, and long-term scale benefits.Additional sourcing and procurement related responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain, engineering, or related fieldProven experience in leading and developing high performing teams with a demonstrated ability to lead and influence in a global matrix organizationMinimum 15 years of progressive experience managing a multinational sourcing and procurement function including managing global RFx events and supplier contractsMinimum 15 years of category management experience, preference for specific experience across the following categories: professional services, transportation, facilities, construction, IT hardware, IT software, human resources, temporary labor, material handling equipment, refrigeration equipment and warehouse suppliesProfessional designations in sourcing and procurement are a plus (e.g., CIPS, CPSM, CSCP, CSCM, CSCMP)Ability to develop critical insights and make strategic recommendations based on data, key metrics, and business requirementsKeen financial acumen and analytical problem-solving skillsProficiency with MS OfficeExperience with Workday Strategic Sourcing, Workday Procurement, and other procurement platforms a plusMust have a “Team First” mentality and highly collaborative work style – both within the global sourcing and procurement organization and with key stakeholdersStrong organizational skills, self-starter, detail oriented and have the ability to follow through on strategic global initiativesExcellent interpersonal and written communication skills
