Our GEDWorks and Accelerated Pathways teams partner with more than 75 leading employers to deliver high-impact, turnkey education solutions for working learners. **The Opportunity** We’re looking for a senior leader to lead our Global Operations and Strategic Partnerships across three high-impact, fast-moving teams: + **Global Operations** – Ensuring seamless test delivery and learner support across U.S. and international markets. + **GEDWorks & GED+** – Providing comprehensive support, coaching, and test preparation for adult learners via employer and self-pay channels. + **Accelerated Pathways** – Helping employers deliver cost-effective tuition benefit programs that drive learner success and workforce ROI. + As VP, you’ll provide operational leadership to ~90 team members, drive cross-functional efficiency, elevate the learner experience, and grow the impact of our partnerships. **Key Responsibilities:** + **Lead with Vision** : Develop and execute operational strategies that align with long-term goals across product, delivery, and support. + **Optimize for Impact** : Implement data-driven process improvements, embracing AI and emerging technologies to improve efficiency and learner outcomes. + **Drive Performance** : Monitor KPIs and SLAs to assess and improve service delivery across teams and partner ecosystems. + **Inspire Teams** : Lead and empower a distributed team with a culture of accountability, innovation, and development. + **Build Strategic Partnerships** : Forge and expand high-value relationships with employers, government agencies, and mission-aligned organizations to scale our brand and services. + **Manage with Discipline** : Oversee budgets and resourcing to ensure sustainable growth and operational excellence. + **Collaborate Cross-Functionally** : Partner with internal stakeholders, legal teams, and executives to align priorities and deliver results. **About you** + 10+ years of senior leadership experience in education, edtech, corporate training, or upskilling. + Proven success managing large, distributed teams with a track record of talent development and performance improvement. + Deep understanding of adult learners, workforce education, and tuition benefit strategies. + Strong strategic acumen and experience navigating complex partner ecosystems. + Exceptional communication and storytelling skills—with the ability to influence at all levels. + Experience building and sustaining executive-level relationships with internal and external stakeholders. + Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s in business, education, or communications strongly preferred. + Comfortable with U.S. travel (15–20%) and remote team leadership. **Your Reward & Benefits:** We know you’ll do great work, so we give a lot back with some of the best benefits in the business. Compensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location.
