Vice President, Finance
As the Vice President, Finance you will be responsible for overseeing the financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, internal and external financial reporting and evaluating mergers and acquisitions (M&A). Reporting directly to the CFO, this role plays a critical part in driving financial strategy, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, and facilitating informed business decision-making across the organization. \n

Essential Functions & Requirements: \n\nPrioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times\nDirects and oversees all aspects of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with corporate strategic objectives\nLeads internal and external financial reporting, including preparation and analysis of financial statements, performance metrics, and management reports\nEvaluates potential mergers and acquisitions, including financial modeling, due diligence, integration planning, and assessing strategic alignment and financial viability\nProvides insightful financial analysis and decision support to senior leadership, enhancing the organization's capability to achieve operational and strategic goals\nImplements and continuously improves financial systems, processes, and controls to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance\nPartners cross-functionally with operational leaders to develop comprehensive financial insights that drive strategic business decisions\nMonitors industry trends and conducts competitive analyses to ensure proactive financial and strategic positioning\nTakes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization\n\n

Education:\n\nBachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field (required) \nMBA or advanced degree (preferred)\nCPA, CFA or similar professional certification (preferred) \n\n

Experience: \n\n12+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, ideally within a complex growth-oriented organization (required) \nPrevious experience in FP&A, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and M&A evaluation (required) \n\n

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)\n\nAccuracy and timeliness of financial forecasts and budgeting processes\nQuality and clarity of internal and external financial reporting\nImpactful strategic insights and analyses provided to senior management for business decision-making\nEffective identification, evaluation, and successful integration of strategic M&A activities\nStrengthening and streamlining financial planning processes and internal controls, measured by improved process efficiency and compliance outcomes\n\n

Competencies: \n\nStrong knowledge of financial systems and software (ERP systems, BI tools, Excel modeling, etc.)\nDeep understanding of the industry and a strong commitment to continuous improvement\nAbility to work collaboratively across departments to achieve company goals \nExceptional time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively\nStrong leadership capabilities with a proven ability to motivate and influence others; skilled in coaching and performance management to drive individual and team success \nStrong analytical skills and the ability to make sound decisions in complex situations\nDemonstrated ability to lead organizational change and drive improvement initiatives\nRegular and predictable attendance to perform the functions and requirements of this role\n\n
