Vice President, Finance As the Vice President, Finance you will be responsible for overseeing the financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, internal and external financial reporting and evaluating mergers and acquisitions (M&A). Reporting directly to the CFO, this role plays a critical part in driving financial strategy, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, and facilitating informed business decision-making across the organization. Essential Functions & Requirements: + Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times + Directs and oversees all aspects of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with corporate strategic objectives + Leads internal and external financial reporting, including preparation and analysis of financial statements, performance metrics, and management reports + Evaluates potential mergers and acquisitions, including financial modeling, due diligence, integration planning, and assessing strategic alignment and financial viability + Provides insightful financial analysis and decision support to senior leadership, enhancing the organization's capability to achieve operational and strategic goals + Implements and continuously improves financial systems, processes, and controls to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance + Partners cross-functionally with operational leaders to develop comprehensive financial insights that drive strategic business decisions + Monitors industry trends and conducts competitive analyses to ensure proactive financial and strategic positioning + Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization Education: + Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field (required) + MBA or advanced degree (preferred) + CPA, CFA or similar professional certification (preferred) Experience: + 12+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, ideally within a complex growth-oriented organization (required) + Previous experience in FP&A, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and M&A evaluation (required) Critical Success Factors: Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) + Accuracy and timeliness of financial forecasts and budgeting processes + Quality and clarity of internal and external financial reporting + Impactful strategic insights and analyses provided to senior management for business decision-making + Effective identification, evaluation, and successful integration of strategic M&A activities + Strengthening and streamlining financial planning processes and internal controls, measured by improved process efficiency and compliance outcomes Competencies: + Strong knowledge of financial systems and software (ERP systems, BI tools, Excel modeling, etc.) + Deep understanding of the industry and a strong commitment to continuous improvement + Ability to work collaboratively across departments to achieve company goals + Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively + Strong leadership capabilities with a proven ability to motivate and influence others; skilled in coaching and performance management to drive individual and team success + Strong analytical skills and the ability to make sound decisions in complex situations + Demonstrated ability to lead organizational change and drive improvement initiatives + Regular and predictable attendance to perform the functions and requirements of this role Benefits, Compensation, & Workforce Diversity: Arcwood offers competitive pay and bonus incentives.
