Overview We are seeking a talented Vice President, Digital Revenue to add to our marketing team. The Vice President, Digital Revenue will contribute to the success of Smoothie King’s business and marketing objectives by driving the company’s strategy around customer data analytics, segmentation, and performance marketing. This role is essential to unifying customer insights across multiple websites and digital touchpoints, translating data into actionable strategies that enhance customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value. The VP will collaborate with key stakeholders across marketing, product, technology, and operations to align data-driven insights with performance marketing campaigns to maximize ROI and drive business growth. This position will oversee strategic direction, loyalty KPIs and program improvements, member analytics, communication, and promotions. Supervisory Responsibilities: Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains individual contributors and/or management-level staff in the department. Oversees the daily workflow of the department. Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations. Handles discipline and termination of team members in accordance with company policy. Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities: Customer Data Strategy & Analytics: Develop and lead the overall customer data strategy, ensuring data is effectively captured, processed, and translated into actionable insights. Oversee data collection across multiple websites and digital channels, ensuring integration and uniformity in data management. Use data to segment and target customers for personalized marketing strategies Implement tools and systems that support real-time customer data insights and attribution modeling. Loyalty Strategy and Implementation: Own the development, implementation, and administration of the loyalty program, “Healthy Rewards”. Plan, develop, and execute loyalty member programs, benefits, rewards, events, promotions, and campaigns. Responsible for the on-going enhancement of the loyalty program as well as appropriately scaling the program and its benefits. Work with cross-functional counterparts to manage the ongoing evolution of “Healthy Rewards”, including a flawless guest experience at all touchpoints (in-store, online, print, direct mail, and social). Develop multi-year digital and loyalty strategies while collaborating cross functionally toward the implementation of the loyalty program structure and member experience. Responsible for benchmarking industry best practices, to ensure the most effective ongoing digital presentation and creative expression of the brand, providing a guest experience that is consistent with Smoothie King’s exceptional standards. Build and maintain strong working relationships with external agencies, loyalty vendors, and cross-functional internal team members. Personalization & Customer Experience: Utilize guest data and insights to deliver hyper-personalized experiences across websites and channels. Develop scalable personalization programs that enhance the guest journey, increase satisfaction, loyalty, and repeat purchases. Responsible for driving performance across all owned digital channels and optimization platforms including: Smoothieking.com, the Smoothie King app, SEO vendor, MMP and CDP vendors. Develop and monitor key success metrics and KPI’s - acquisition, retention, win back, percent of loyalty sales, average check, and active percent to database. Utilize proprietary and syndicated market research, customer feedback, program performance data, and the competitive landscape to identify new opportunities that deliver a best-in-class loyalty experience. Work with Smoothie King analytics team to analyze and report on the program, campaign, and promotion effectiveness and clearly communicate results to draw actionable insights and facilitate sound decision making on next steps. Lead and operate on both strategic and tactical levels, translating vision to execution. Responsibilities Strong analytic and insight skills; ability to deep dive into data and translate into actionable recommendations. Strong influence skills, poise, and the ability to gain alignment and investment from stakeholders. Proficient with Google Analytics, and social media monitoring platforms. Strong understanding of technical aspects of search engine optimization. Experienced digital marketing manager with a creative & entrepreneurial mindset, strong sense of urgency and drive for results. Effective communicator and presenter; crafts compelling presentations and presents confidently at a senior level. Must have retail brand sensibility in terms of content, visuals, copy and leadership experience. Must be hands-on, flexible, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment and working collaboratively with both the Franchise Development, Information Technology & Customer Marketing teams. Must be data driven (utilizing multiple internal data systems) to measure marketing performance and creativity. Ability to drive brand and business metrics, particularly ROI, to deliver traffic, revenue, and engage existing and new customers to the brand. Qualifications A bachelor’s degree in business or marketing, required; MBA preferred. Proven experience in a data driven environment. At least fifteen (15+) years in a similar capacity: brand, retailer, or agency with strong focus on communications and content. Must have experience in the QSR or food industry with a strong understanding of industry-specific operations and challenges.
