Job Description

The Vice President, Client Team, part of the Client Partnerships group within the NBCU Ad Sales Organization, is responsible for ensuring NBCU is positioned to deliver on client business objectives and priorities by maximizing the power of the Comcast/NBCUniversal platform and portfolio of assets. This role develops key relationships and builds value with clients by developing creative strategic solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Partner with sales leadership to advance a consultative selling strategy for the Comcast/NBCUniversal Portfolio of assets.Develop a conceptual framework for the sales organization to approach advertisers at a strategic top-down level to demonstrate the breadth and power of the portfolio to address and move specific category and client KPI’s. Concentration in Insurance, Restaurant and Retail categories.Lead a center of excellence focused on subject matter expertise to maximize revenue potential, as well as assess how the sales organization goes to market in an evolving media landscape.Apply emerging consumer data and analytics to create innovative media solutions with NBCU’s content and platforms.Apply a “Comms Planning” understanding, internally and externally, as to how Comcast/NBCU platforms and assets can turn a client’s brand positioning into a fully realized marketing and media investment at scale.Develop strategic models to address client business challenges.Lead Client Partnership team in understanding broader media landscape on competitive positioning and connect strategic solutions to platform-selling opportunities.Help leverage other lines of business across NBCU/Comcast to further revenue generation in media.Oversee target account business assessment, positioning, and success metrics.Suggest, support, and deploy new ad products, strategic partnerships, and monetization strategies.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 10 years of media industry experience with sales and marketing, client, or agency background.Demonstrated deep understanding of strategic approach to media plan development.Proven broad knowledge of media landscape and competitive set.Proven list of key client and agency relationships.Experience on variety of subcategories: Retail Media, E-Commerce.Demonstrated understanding of business drivers within various ad categories, and the ability to connect to media strategy and solutions.

Successful leadership experience, and demonstration of ability to work well across an organizational matrix.Documented success building, managing, and retaining high-performance teams.Demonstrates strong communication skills.Displays excellent executive-level presentation, leadership, and interpersonal skills.BA/BS or equivalent experience.

Additional Requirements:

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
