We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Vice President, Asset Liability and Capital Management.
Principal Responsibilities
VP, ALCM will be supporting ALCM activities of INSP including capital management and liquidity management. The role-holder will perform analytics in relation to earnings and capital for ALCO deliberations. The role will serve as the secretariat for the Asset-Liability Committee (ALCO) meetings and responsible for organizing ALCO meetings, coordinating with various teams and preparing minutes.
Support capital management activities including capital injection, shareholder dividends, capital reductions etcSupport liquidity management including monitoring of liquidity positions in liquidity dashboard, liquidity stress testing. Support the optimization of liquidity / cash management across various portfolios of INSPPerform analytics to support ALCO functions, including but not limited to analytics related to earnings, capital and product profitabilityEnsure that all ALCO issues are captured, monitored, and controlled by senior management through effective meeting organization and documentationOrganize ALCO meetings, ensuring all necessary materials and papers are submitted on timePrepare and maintain accurate minutes of ALCO meetings, ensuring follow-through on action items and decisionsLiaise with various teams including Finance, Actuarial, Risk, Investment, and ALM to ensure comprehensive preparation for ALCO meetingsLiaise with Group Insurance finance and bank finance teams for capital management related activitiesMaintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment and communication on ALCO-related topicsFoster a collaborative environment, ensuring effective teamwork across functions and timely submission of ALCO papers and materialsCoordinate with multiple teams to ensure timely submission and thorough preparation of ALCO papers and materialsEnsure compliance with investment policies, risk limits, and regulatory requirements related to ALCO activitiesProvide clear and detailed updates on ALCO-related topics to local and group stakeholdersConduct stress testing and identify emerging risks to manage the entity's capital and liquidity position effectivelyProvide financial risk management oversight, including recommending financial and insurance risk appetites and limits, and evaluating the asset and liability impact of strategies and business plansEnhance economic profit by improving net profits and promoting efficiency in the use of capital and fundingSome careers grow faster than others.
