Build rapport with clients by gathering information, listening to, and empathizing with their concerns.Perform physical examinations and diagnostic/medical/surgical procedures with high-quality care.Communicate effectively with clients on diagnosis, treatment plans, and preventive health care.Maintain up-to-date medical/surgical records and logs.Stay current with new medical information and veterinary practices.Assist in developing the paraprofessional team to ensure exceptional client service.Represent the hospital positively in the professional community.Skills and Basic Qualifications:
DVM or related degree from an accredited university.Licensure in good standing.Commitment to high standards of veterinary medicine and ethics.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively with hospital team members.Confident and effective decision-making skills.Professional and courteous demeanor with staff and clients.Commitment to ongoing educational development.
