In this role you will be a part of the infrastructure group in the Northeast market. We are an entrepreneurial, multidisciplinary firm of approximately 4,500 professionals across North America with a history of successfully delivering some of the most complex infrastructure projects across North America. We are currently looking to grow and enhance our transit, rail control systems, structural, roadway, and tunneling practices.
What a day at EXP has in store for you
Specify and design vertical transportation systems. Perform flow design calculations for passenger and goods lifts. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors during the installation process. Develop and implement maintenance schedules for all vertical transportation systems. Conduct regular safety audits, field surveys and inspections. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. Manage vertical transportation projects from inception to completion. Oversee budget, timeline, and resource allocation. Conduct site surveys and monitor site activities. Liaise with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors Interface and work with project stakeholders to resolve design and construction issues Provide technical support and training to staff and clients. Maintain detailed records of all installations, inspections, and maintenance activities. Prepare reports on system performance and project progress. Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accessible. Review and analyze shop drawings, specifications, reports and related contract documents for compliance with codes & standards
What your experience looks like
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. A minimum of 8 years of experience in vertical transportation or a related field is required. A proven track record of managing large-scale projects is essential. Experience with safety audits and compliance is necessary. Familiarity with MTA Elevators/Escalators Specifications and Design Guidelines is expected. Extensive knowledge of vertical transportation systems and relevant regulations. Strong project management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams. 30-Hour OSHA Certification/MTA Track Safety Certified QEI
The pay range for this role is $125,000 to $200,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
