As vertical sales manager you will be working directly with Municipal customers, project consultants, channel partners and Engineering & Procurement Contractors to grown municipal vertical segment.   Further, you will be rolling out strategic sales and marketing initiatives to generate project funnel and ensure closure of the active funnel.   This role needs you to leverage both your technical and commercial skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Identify and address growth opportunities within the municipal vertical & help develop strategic project opportunities such as AMRUT2/Smart City Projects/Jal Jeevan Mission and with individual municipalities.Identify key consultants, develop rapport to create value for Hach products/solutions and develop project funnel at early stage (DPR).Collaborate with Municipal Channel network and engage with Municipal end customers.Coach and consultant customers on water treatment applications.Deliver technical presentations at Hach sponsored and National seminars/exhibitions.Conducts cadence calls with Channel team on Sales funnel and work for the opportunity conversions.Works along with Sales team for EPC Key accounts for opportunity progression and conversion.Trains channel team on products and applications.Works with regulatory authorities to ensure Hach products/solutions are approved.Provides key market insights to Hach leadership to facilitate development of strategic business and market plans.Make monthly, quarterly and year forecast for the region and delivers sales targets.

REQUIRED EXPEREINCE

Minimum 11 – 18 years of Direct sales & business development.Qualification - Engineering graduate /BSC/ MSC/ MBAPreferred - exposure in water treatment, water quality monitoring, environmental solutions, or instrumentation in Govt – Public Infrastructure Sectors.Must have team handling exposure.Good with networking
