Minimum qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
+ 7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function, or an advanced degree.
+ Ability to communicate in English and Spanish fluently to engage with local stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications:
+ Experience with SQL and data visualization tools.
+ Experience leading cross-functional project teams, with excellent problem-framing and problem-structuring, and project management skills.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
+ Ability to communicate insights to a wide range of stakeholders including highly technical management teams.
+ Excellent investigative and quantitative modeling skills.

In this role, you’ll be a member of the Cloud AI and Applied AI product finance team. We help to productize and commercialize Gemini and other AI innovations for our Cloud customers via Vertex AI and the Applied AI team.
You will be the Vertex AI team’s trusted financial, strategic, and operational advisor for AI capacity needs. By developing financial reporting and key performance indicators, you will drive improvements in business outcomes. You’ll need to work cross-functionally across business leadership, product management, engineering, and business planning and commercialization teams.

+ Act as a finance point of contact for other internal finance teams to guide their product development decisions.
+ Develop a new intake process to forecast internal capacity needs.
+ Track and report on AI efficiency commitments.
+ Partner to guide business decisions related to capacity allocation decisions.
+ Create and maintain the driver-based capacity forecast model taking into account AI usage, technical initiatives, model releases, and internal needs from fine-tuning or other internal users.
