Job description

In the role as Venture Lead Circularity Center you will lead the Venture from analysis to scale and secure a delivery upon set targets.

 

Venture Lead is responsible to secure the progress and the success of a venture by aligning and coordinating the work of the venture team and monitoring the business and financial performance of the venture. You guide and support the venture team and you are the speaking partner to the Venture Board.

 

The Venture you will lead is Circularity Center. For Scania, circularity involves every aspect of our business. It challenges us to rethink not just how we design and manufacture products, our impact and knowledge of the value chain, but also how we develop business models and provide value for our customers. Therefore, we are taking actions to gain a deeper understanding of the opportunities of a circular approach in the different parts of our value chain. This includes exploring new business models, working with our supply chain, extending the life of our products, optimising the use of resources and energy, maintaining product value as high as possible, remanufacturing spare parts and promoting reuse of components and recycling at the end-of-life product phase.

 

Key Responsibilities

In the role of Venture Lead Circularity Center your main key task will be to lead the Venture Team:

Strategic Vision and Planning: Developing and articulating a clear vision for the venture, including setting strategic goals, defining the business model, and creating a roadmap for growth. Leadership and Team Management: Leading and inspiring multidisciplinary teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance. Market Analysis and Positioning: Conducting comprehensive market research to identify opportunities, assess competition, and refine value propositions. Operational Oversight: Managing day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient execution of business plans, and achieving key performance indicators. Financial Management: Overseeing budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation to ensure sustainable growth and profitability. Stakeholder Engagement: Building and maintaining relationships with partners, customers, and other key stakeholders to support venture objectives. Risk Management: Identifying potential risks and implementing strategies to mitigate them, ensuring the venture's resilience and adaptability. Part of Venture Operation Extended Management Team. Reports to Head of Venture Operation.

We also believe that you (requirements): Have experience of adopting a more circular economic model where the use of existing resources is maximised, and waste is minimised all along the value chain Have experience of working with both software and hardware Have 7+ years of experience of leading organizations, demonstrating the ability to drive growth, manage risks, and inspire teams preferably within a successful start-up or venture​ Have the ability to set long-term goals and create a clear, actionable roadmap for achieving them​ Have P&L responsibility and strong understanding of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis​ Have experience of leading high performing teams with proven result of building and scaling business/revenue​ Have deep understanding of the industry and relevant domain including market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory environment​ Have exceptional ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders, including employees, board members, investors, and clients, fostering transparency and trust​ Have an alignment with the organization's values and culture​ Have a Master´s Degree in Business or Engineering
