The position
As a Vendor Manager at Novo Nordisk, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Product Supply Production IT strategic objectives. You will be responsible for managing vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with service level agreements, and driving continuous improvement. Your expertise will help us maintain high standards and achieve operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors to support the strategy, while maintaining strong relationships with existing vendors Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure favorable terms and conditions, while ensuring vendor compliance with service level agreements through performance monitoring and regular reviews Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand vendor requirements and drive continuous improvement (including working with other vendor managers in other teams and procurement functions) Supervise all external consultants linked to the area and assist in hiring processes, including establish structures supporting onboarding, training adherence, IT equipment, and accessibilities Manage vendor-related risks and escalate issues as needed. Contribute to financial management and co-drive budget processes in partnership with our Business Support Manager and Finance Partner. Build and establish collaboration models and governance between vendors and internal functions, bridging people and organizations together Support critical roll-out projects by managing vendor-related activities and maintaining an overview of external consultants in the area
