Volt is immediately hiring for a Vendor Assurance Analyst in Bartlett, IL for a growing food products supplier. If you have a background in food manufacturing, vendor management, and a passion for high quality food products, then this is the position for you!

As a Vendor Assurance Analyst you will:
\r\n\r\n\r\n\tDevelop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols\r\n\tGrow the efficiency of existing organizational processes and procedures to enhance and sustain the organization’s internal capacity\r\n\tActively pursue strategic and operational objectives\r\n\tSupport Strategic Improvements, which require actively seeking feedback from various departments and vendors to craft and refine strategies to enhance the value derived from vendors. This could mean re-negotiating terms, introducing new performance metrics, and changing vendors if necessary. The aim is to ensure the relationship remains dynamic, flexible, and consistently improving\r\n\tDrive continuous, provable improvements and efficiencies based on data.\r\n\tCreate and maintain daily logs detailing vendors' activities.\r\n\tAudit regularly to ensure standard operating procedures are being followed.\r\n\tEnsure operational activities remain on time and within a defined budget\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
This is a full time, Direct Hire opportunity.
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
The ideal candidate will have:
\r\n\r\n\r\n\t3+ years’ experience in Vendor Management\r\n\tContinuous improvement skills, project experience\r\n\tBachelor's Degree in business, computer science, or information technology is preferred\r\n\tDemonstrated careful attention to detail.\r\n\tStrong leadership and problem-solving abilities.\r\n\tComfortable guiding and managing negotiations.\r\n\tAbility to travel 15-20% domestically to visit with vendors as needed.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
Salary: $90,000-120,000/year + 10% bonus
\r\n*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
