The Virtual Engagement organization within Wealth Management focuses on supporting the growth and overall success of Morgan Stanley Financial Advisors.
The Virtual Engagement Associate Program (VEA) was launched to support experienced Financial Advisors by executing aspects of their individual business development strategies. By leveraging Morgan Stanley’s state-of-the-art tools, VEAs help Financial Advisors increase client engagement by managing their digital presence via social media and business websites, creating consistent client-specific communication based on Morgan Stanley’s unique Next Best Action tool, building authentic goals-based financial plans for clients and prospects, and more.
As part of the Virtual Engagement Associate Program (VEA) team, the VEA Team Manager is responsiblefor directly managing a team of 20 VEAs who support a subset of our Financial Advisor base through either Digital Marketing or Financial Planning services. The VEA Team Manager will ensure their entire team is performing at a high level while adhering to Firm program standards of excellence.
Responsibilities:
·Responsible for supervision of VEAs including managing their training and development
·Monitor on-site performance, behavior and general policy adherence
·Develop effective teams, providing consistent leadership and assuming accountability for results
·Ensure the team is meeting all minimum requirements defined by the VEA standards of excellence; these include, but are not limited to, client engagement metrics and logging activity
·Coach and develop team members to improve their performance across all metrics
·As needed, create performance improvement plans for underperforming VEAs
·Support the VEA Recruiter in the Campus Recruiting process by conducting candidateinterviews or assist with various recruiting efforts as necessary
·Conduct regular team meetings to pass along best practices and share ideas
·Understanding and knowledge across all VEA services and offerings
·In partnership with the VEA Relationship Manager, conduct performance reviews
·Stay organized, focused, and highly disciplined
·Demonstrate accountability and a strong work ethic to promote confidence and trust in their work

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $110000 and $180000 per year at the commencement of employment.However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
