The VDC Manager I is responsible leading and directing the day-to-day management of the VDC process and responsible for the execution of work associated with constructability development and coordination of the project documents for one or more projects.

 

Responsibilities Autonomous in leading project coordination on simultaneous projectsDevelop project specific BIM Standards & Specifications (BS&S)Draft project coordination scheduleDraft project coordination budgetManage the daily coordination activities of a small team of VDC EngineersCoach and develop VDC EngineersCreate and maintain comprehensive coordination documentationParticipates in sales strategy, pursuits, presentations, and winning work.Lead 4-5 VDC deliverables at one time, including through the work of direct reports Qualifications

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

BA/BS/MS degree in Architecture, Engineering or BIM related specialties4-5 years of VDC Coordination experienceOr equivalent combination of education and experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Strong problem-solving skillsStrong time-management and analytical skillsExpert user of BIM and design software (Navisworks, Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Illustrator, In-design)Firm understanding of complex design concepts and integrated building components and systemsProven leadership skillsStrong communication and organizational skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, team environmentAbility to effectively delegate tasks to a small team of VDC EngineersAbility to mentor and develop VDC Engineers
