Bell is seeking a Value Stream Manager to support our manufacturing operations at our Advanced Composite Center in Fort Worth, TX.

What you’ll be doing as a Value Stream Manager

The Value Stream Manager serves as the cross functional product team leader for executing the production plan of the assembly center. Develops, validates, delivers and supports the initiatives and goals of Bell Helicopter and Integrated Operations.Direct and administer production management activities to ensure on-time delivery per customer needs. Ensure that the production team is driven to serve customers with a high level of energy and sensitivity to their needs. Advocate data based decisions and the highest standards of product quality.Work with Process Engineering and Employee Health and Safety to ensure proper procedures are in place, monitored and improved to reduce the potential for job related injuries.Work with Process Engineering and Quality to identify process improvement opportunities; implement and monitor the effectiveness of continuous improvement activities in order to reduce scrap, rework, schedule misses and the potential for defect escapes to achieve the planned target levels for process certification.Work with Human Resources and elected Union officials to resolve conflicts thereby assuring high morale and uninterrupted workflow.Ensure the continuous development and training of employees on effective and efficient job skills and manufacturing technologies.Continuously drive improvement of critical metrics such as product quality, delivery performance, cost and safety.Review activity reports, backlogs, delivery schedules, manpower and financial statements to determine progress in attaining objectives and implement corrective actions, revisions and improvements.

Skills you bring to the role

· Knowledge of building and curing composite details and assemblies.

· Familiar with SAP, Quickview, Enovia

· Capable of leveraging modern business systems and have basic computer skills

What you need to be successful

· BS in Engineering/Manufacturing/Supply Chain Management or equivalent. Master's Degree in related discipline preferred

· 5 years of leadership experience required

· 5 years of manufacturing experience preferred
