What we are looking for:
Gartner Digital Markets is looking for a Senior UX researcher to help guide platform and tool user experience research from early concepts to optimizing live offerings. This position will work closely with research peers and product leaders to ensure research is embedded throughout the development cycle. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver, able to multi-task, collaborate with others and is flexible/able to shift priorities and methods as needed.
The Senior UX Researcher will employ a variety of research methods to assess Gartner’s customer experience.
Why you’ll want to come to work:
Implement unmoderated and moderated studies using platforms like UserTesting.
Work with prototypes in Figma or like tools at various phases of development (low to high fidelity).
Design and manage UX research efforts from the scoping stage to delivery of final insights/recommendations (screening, recruitment, guide/task development, interviewing, tool deployment, reporting, etc.).
Conduct 1:1 qualitative interviews with users.
Implement various tests: A/B testing, card sorts, heuristic evaluation, usability testing, tree testing, first-click, etc.)
Provide guidance to product leaders throughout product UX milestones.
Deliver informative reports outlining experience friction points and recommendations.
Experience with various UX tools (UserTesting/UserZoom, Dovetail, Figma, Miro, Fullstory, Google Analytics, HotJar, Productboard, etc.)
What you will bring to the team:
2 years+ of UX/UI experience research, unmoderated and moderated testing research is a must (Usertesting/Userzoom, etc.)
Demonstrated ability to rapidly craft research plans, deliverables and a schedule to meet stakeholder expectations.
The ability to quickly identify pain points/friction in customer experience and make recommendations on changes.
Ability to go deep into the details as warranted. Both a planner and a "doer”.
Experience in managing and sorting insight repositories in Dovetail.
Coordinate studies with external consultants/partners.
