POSITION SUMMARY:
Our Redmond-based client is looking for a UX/UI Developer for a remote based position in USA
The main function of a UX/UI Developer is to develop, create, and modify user interfaces through and understanding of end-user needs.
Responsibilities Evaluate new and updated navigation requests for adherence to guidelines and best practicesSupport refining governance and maintenance workflows for site navigationCommunicate with stakeholders about their requestsWork with PMs and engineers to support automation efforts for navigation workflowsCollaborate in creating test plans for user research focused on information architectureAnalyze and make recommendations based on research findingsDefine and document best practice guidelines for navigation structures based on research and industry best practices Qualifications Must have 8–10 years of overall experience in the field. Should have an understanding of information architecture principles for creating digital user experiences. Should have used taxonomy best practices and internal documentation to guide decision-making. Should have demonstrated experience in Navigation Design, including designing and implementing navigation structures. Should have demonstrated experience in Tree Test Design, including familiarity with designing and conducting tree tests for user research. Should have demonstrated experience with GitHub, including a basic understanding of version control and managing pull requests. Should be familiar with designing and executing user research methods for testing information architecture, especially card sorts and tree tests. Must have the ability to document standards and guidelines. Should have strong verbal and written communication skills and be able to communicate effectively at all levels across the organization. Experience working with commercial taxonomy management software (preference for PoolParty). Experience using GitHub to make and merge changes. Should have a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. A master's degree in Library and Information Science, HCI, or a related field is preferred.WHAT WE HAVE TO OFFER:

A competitive pay range of $52/hr- $54/hr (depending on experience).Location: remote (USA)15 days per year of Paid Time Off (PTO).8 paid holidays + 1 personal floating holiday401(k) retirement plan with company match.
