Our client is seeking a talented and creative UX Designer for a two year contract based out of Albany,NY. This role will focus on developing intuitive and engaging user experiences for education administrative systems. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating user-centric designs. • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and educational administrators to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and user experience. • Execute all stages of the design process from concept to final hand-off to engineering, including wireframing, prototyping, and user interface design. • Conduct user research and testing to gather insights and validate design decisions. • Develop and maintain personas, user journey maps, and other user-centered design artifacts. • Create high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes to communicate design ideas effectively. • Ensure designs are consistent with our brand guidelines and standards. • Current with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies. • Advocate for the end-user throughout the development process and ensure that user experience is prioritized. • Design solutions that streamline administrative processes and enhance efficiency. Experience: • 7 years of experience in managing higher education, government, and corporate projects with a broad breadth of experience in application development is preferred. • Experience providing strategic advice and guidance to senior management on business/functional-related matters. • Experience in evaluating and improving existing business processes and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. • Experience in utilizing data analytics to drive business insights and identify opportunities for digital enhancement.
