Role Description:
As a UX Designer, you will oversee the user experience for a suite of Canopy products. Employing the latest techniques of UX research, you will be responsible for ensuring that the visual and interaction design of your owned products provides an unmatched experience to our end users. The ideal candidate combines deep domain and industry expertise with experience delivering consumer-grade products to clinical users.
Core Responsibilities:
Shepherd the Design Process: From initial user interviews through wireframe, prototyping, and high fidelity designs, you will guide the design process to ensure the needs of our users are met with every new product we produce.
Own Interaction Design: Combine UX thinking with design execution to produce usable and intuitive interfaces for our Canopy users with clear interactions that make adoption a breeze
Guide Design Research: Plan and run user tests, conduct user interviews, and lead design thinking exercises to inform design decisions
Drive Design Consistency: Partner with the rest of the design and engineering team to refine our design system, ensuring visual cohesion and engineering efficiency across all Canopy products
Communicate Designs: Partner with engineering and product stakeholders to iterate on designs and ensure all team members have a common understanding of the design prior to implementation
Deliver Continuous Improvement: You will identify and action opportunities for design improvement identified through quantitative measurement and feedback from end users.
What are we looking for?
3+ years of experience working in UX role at a rapidly growing company
1+ years healthcare experience
Highly proficient with common design tools (Axure, Sketch, Invision, Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop)
Expertise in developing high fidelity mockups from a visual design framework with high attention to detail
Experience with common UX research frameworks (Interviewing, Competitive Analysis, Ethnographic Research, Rapid Usability Testing)
Comfortable with facilitating workshops, leading product discussions and making recommendations on a path forward based on user research
Preferred experience:
Experience designing and delivering a complex enterprise web application
Experience designing and delivering a published Android or iOS app
US work authorization
