As a UX Designer at BizBuySell, you will partner closely with product managers, engineers, and customer-facing teams to design discrete product enhancements as well as broad, cross-product capabilities. Our UX Designers are passionate advocates for our customers and users and embody the user-centered design practice within our organization. You will have a huge impact on the small business economy, facilitating the transfer of hundreds of thousands of small businesses to new owners.

We believe in-person collaboration drives the best results for our customers and users. This position is in our downtown San Francisco office, with a hybrid schedule of 4 days onsite and 1 day remote. The office is centrally located and convenient to public transit. 

About You:

We are looking for a UX Designer with a passion for user-centric design, who can see the big picture of customer needs and zoom in with meticulous attention to detail. You will help push our design standards to the next level, growing the business while setting a high bar for quality and user delight.

You love putting structure around difficult problems. You thrive at being hands-on and immersive. You look for opportunities to improve the way things work, and you have the drive to challenge the enterprise software status quo. You are also experienced working with product teams and know how to clarify requirements and work towards consensus and compromise. You're a proactive self-starter. If you see a problem, you look for ways to fix it instead of waiting for others to fix it for you. 

Responsibilities:

Produce designs in collaboration with the product team, including user flows, conceptual & detailed wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypesAct as the user advocate in cross-functional teams with product and engineeringCommunicate your design process and recommendations effectively to C-suite level stakeholders and below across the organizationCreate intuitive products that elevate the user experience in delightful ways using best practices, current web trends, and user researchCollaborate with product managers, executives, and other stakeholders to incorporate specific design requirements, visual treatment, and content structure

Qualifications:

3+ years of software UX design experienceA portfolio of user-centered SaaS project examplesPrior experience with online marketplaces and/or SMB products preferredBachelor’s degree requiredDesign-related degree preferredStrong communication skills, articulating design decisions to business and technical partners and processing stakeholder feedbackDeep experience in UI design and prototyping, using tools such as FigmaProficiency in sketching and conceptualizing user experiences and information architectureVisual design and user research skills preferredExperience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus

Compensation Range

This position offers a base salary range of $112,300.00 to $196,300.00 based on relevant skills and experience and includes a generous bonus and benefits plan.
