Primary Responsibilities:
Applies knowledge of interface design, user research, screen layout, visual design, information design, branding, accessibility, and interaction design to provide for the best possible experience for customers and users Focus on understanding and meeting the needs of users Champion and apply user-centered design principles and methods to drive positive user and business outcomes Create user interface designs and prototypes and specs to bring concepts to life, focusing on usability, accessibility, aesthetic appeal Research, test and evaluate products, designs, prototypes and concepts Support the development, adoption, and maintenance of UI design patterns, standards and design systems Present design concepts to stakeholders, providing insight into your design process and demonstrating how your work aligns with user needs and business goals and defend design decisions Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or related field 8+ years professional experience Proven experience in UX/UI design for digital products and systems, not just websites Solid understanding of user-centered design, responsive design, accessibility standards, and an intuitive grasp of what makes an experience engaging and effective A compelling portfolio that demonstrates your expertise Deep proficiency in design and prototyping with Figma Proven excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment Proven highly organized with an ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with designing analytics/dashboards Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Experience with enterprise design systems/standards
