JOB TITLE:         Utility – Seasonal

LOCATION:      Miami

ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:

Production Operations at TelevisaUnivision is looking for a Utility to join our team for our live event production. The Utility will also be tasked with assisting the Floor Manager with general studio functions including any needs that may arise on the floor.

YOUR DAY-DAY:  

Operate teleprompter as neededAssist the Floor Manager with cables, sets, props and traffic on the studio floorPlace microphones, IFB, and other related communication equipment on talent and ensure that they are working properlyPerform other related duties as assigned

YOU HAVE:  

1-2 years of experience with live studio broadcastWorking knowledge of computers and Windows operating systemsKnowledge of set monitors and other essential studio hardwareComfortable with all aspects of the productionPerform well under pressure and breaking news situationsExcellent organizational and communication skillsAbility to multitask and prioritizeAbility to work effectively with others in a team environmentCandidate may be required to work on site for extended periods of time to provide coverage in special circumstances, such as during tropical storms/hurricanes

Desired Skills & Experience

Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) preferred

Must be willing to work from the Miami, Florida facilityEmployment/education will be verifiedMust have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States

Physical Requirements

Must be able to carry up to 50 lbs. of equipment and cables
