Schedule: 2nd Shift 5:00pm to 3:30am, Monday - Friday, with rotating for Saturday work based on production schedule.
Work Location: 1325 Chase Ave, Elk Grove Village, IL 60007
Benefits: Based on Union Contract Provisions
Salary, based on experience and other qualifications: 2nd Shift: $19.75 per hour, plus $0.25 shift differential
Position Overview:
This position will require a self-directed, team-oriented individual who takes pride and ownership in his/her work and is willing to accept total responsibility for the performance of the packaging operation on his/her shift. This individual must possess good mechanical skills and be able to demonstrate their ability to produce quality product at levels that will allow the plant to meet or exceed its goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Adheres to company safety and sanitation policies and follows Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) in all areas of responsibility.
Follows established Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
Must be able to stand for several hours at a time.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
Must maintain good housekeeping principles and an organized and neat work area.
Works effectively to meet or exceed productivity goals while maintaining high quality standards.
Follows instructions/directions correctly. Stacking Cases, Manual Labeling, Manual Packing and able to communicate with operator.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong relationships with all line associates and departments.
Demonstrates a Positive Mental Attitude, and willingness to change lines when necessary.
Demonstrates ability to think critically and problem-solve.
Ability to calculate basic math functions (adding subtracting, multiplying, division, percent, etc.) accurately and quickly is necessary.

No experience required; all new hires will be trained.
High School Diploma, GED, equivalent, preferred
Highly motivated self-starter and ability to work independently.
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Basic math and measuring ability
Demonstrates good people skills
Job tasks may also involve:
Using personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, goggles, gloves, and other equipment as established in company policies and safe work procedures.
Compliant with the uniform policy.
Lift 50 pounds at a minimum, anything over should seek assistance.
Frequent carrying, bending, standing, sitting, and repetitive motion.
Other duties
May Include: Sweeping, Organizing, Wiping, Moping, Washing,
Dusting, Scrubbing, Sanitizing, Repack Operations and other
duties as assigned.
