Bring your big ideas knowing you are safe to be who you are and speak up with concerns or questions and put your diverse talents and perspectives to use. **The Opportunity** **As a Consultant within the Infrastructure Advisory team in Canada,** you will play a key role in advising and implementing business process and technology solutions for electric and gas utility operations. You will be part of the team that is responsible for leading and supporting the people-side of projects ensuring that changes within our clients’ organization – such as new technologies, processes, roles and responsibilities or culture shifts – are effectively planned, implemented, adopted and sustained.Our goal is to minimize resistance, improve stakeholder engagement and ensure that the change delivers the client’s desired outcomes. This role will work with external clients in various change management and organizational transformation projects that significantly impact our clients and organization. **Key Responsibilities** + Collaborate with clients and subject matter experts to document current and future states business processes. + Develop deliverables such as Stakeholder Assessments, Change Impact Assessment, Business Process Impact Documentation, and Communication Plan. + Provide functional expertise in organizational transformation and change management. + Lead and contribute to multiple project workstreams across all phases, including analysis, design, build, testing, and go-live. + Manage client expectations within defined scope of engagement + Support Program Management Office (PMO) activities including schedule management, risks and issues tracking, and resource management. + Effectively lead, support and/or participate in work with client stakeholders to identify and articulate the change or transformation outcomes. + Develop and execute change management adoption plans, from problem assessment and design of change plan, through execution of change plan. + Engage with stakeholder clients to refine the change narrative and key messages, provide an assessment of stakeholders to be impacted, and provide recommendations on approach + Collaborate with clients and subject matter experts to document current and future states business processes + Design, develop, and deploy change, communication and training plans, and the artifacts needed to support them. + Build or source supporting materials to socialize and ensure adoption of changes. Materials include presentations, FAQs, news stories, leader talking points, and visual assets. + Create and lead change networks. + Organize, prioritize, and own multiple tasks while meeting and/or exceeding deadlines. + Additional responsibilities may include supporting Program Management Office (PMO) activities including schedule management, risks and issues tracking, and resource management. **Minimum Qualifications** + Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience. + 4+ years experience in a business/consulting environment. All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations. **Preferred Qualifications** + Progressive career development in the client size and program scope. + BA Degree in Instructional Design, Communication, Education, Business, Organizational Development or related field or 5-7 years of equivalent experience + 3+ years of experience in IT and Technology Organizational Change Management, and/or Business Process Improvement within large-scale IT transformational programs + 3+ years of experience in the electric utility sector and/or in a management consulting role working with utilities. + Knowledge of or direct experience with Grid Management & Modernization Solutions Deployment (e.g. Grid Modernization Technologies, Advanced Distribution Management System, Distributed Energy Resource Management System, Automated Metering Infrastructure) and/or Utility IT Transformation (Enterprise Asset Management, Work Management, Customer Information Systems, ERP) + Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to craft strategic communication for program leaderships, stakeholders, and participants.Knowledge of job needs analysis, training needs assessments, and competency modeling. + Excellent active listening skills + Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships + Able to work effectively at all levels of an organization + Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others + Strong facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to lead groups and conduct stakeholder interviews. + Willingness to travel up to 25% across North America (US & Canada), and up to 50% in Greater Toronto Area (GTA). + Work authorization in Canada without requiring sponsorship of visa now or in the future. **Certifications** Prosci Certification **Work Environment/Physical Demands** Virtual with some travel **Competencies** Action oriented Interpersonal savvy Customer focus **Salary Plan** CST: Consulting **Job Grade** 003 BVH, Inc., its subsidiaries and its affiliated companies, complies with all Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) affirmative action laws and regulations.
