To keep these rooms in tip-top shape, we are looking for an extremely detail-oriented, reliable, Utility Housekeeping Aide.
Pay starts at $23.29 for the first 90 days. After successful completion of a 90-day probationary period, the wage increases to $31.06/hr. This role is proudly represented by the UniteHERE Local 2 Union.
Overview:
The Housekeeping Aide – Utility assists with the housekeeping side of the room preventative maintenance program ensuring the hotel's standards of cleanliness. He/she will partner with the engineering team to assist in the hotel’s preventative maintenance.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Must display willingness to work with others.Clean front and back of entry door, door frame, and thresholdClean welcome lightClean all bathroom surfaces, including shower curtains or glass doorsClean and touch-up all furnitureVacuum under furniture, carpet edges and drapesClean inside of windows(s), clean outside, if applicable. Clean windowsills and framesClean drapes/curtains and sheers (as needed)Clean all air vents, including HVAC filtersDust entire room and ceiling, remove cobwebsClean all walls, wall covering, artwork, mirrors, baseboardsClean all bedding (pads, blankets, bedspreads, throws, pillows, shams, pillow protectors, bed skirt)Perform a thorough inspection of the mattress, box spring, bed frame, and headboardFlip and rotate mattresses as per manufacturer's instructionsShampoo all upholsteryClean light fixtures in guestroom and bathroomsClean refrigerator (if applicable)Clean and inspect sofa bed and sofa bed frame (if applicable)Clean carpets as required.Clean designated areas with proper chemicals, tools, and equipmentEducation and Experience:
Some high school education preferred.No prior experience required.
