As a result, a full-time position is available for a Utility Coordinator! This opportunity is available in Lexington, SC or Raleigh, NC office. Responsibilities include: Assisting with the design of water/wastewater and other civil engineering projects Coordinating with multiple utility owners, SCDOT, NCDOT, municipalities and regulatory agencies Preparing or modifying reports, specifications, plans, schedules, studies, permits, and designs for projects Preparing design computations and quantity estimates Developing construction cost estimates for projects within the department Directing and supervising other project staffs’ activities Responsible to project manager and/or project team for quality system tasks as defined in the quality manual Visiting project site(s) to gather data Attending project coordination meetings – days or nights Performing lead function with client contact and communication pertaining to specific projects May perform project management duties on certain projects The successful candidate will have the following background: Bachelors degree in engineering or related field from an accredited 4-year college or university and a minimum of 4 years experience Valid driver’s license At Mead & Hunt we shape the future by putting people first.
