Overview:

The User Experience Designer is responsible for a set of activities, including conducting initial user research, shaping a solution vision grounded in business and user insights, crafting desirable and intuitive multi-channel experiences, creating wireframes and visual designs, and iteratively validating solutions with users. While individual designers may not possess all skills, they are expected to demonstrate deep expertise in two or more areas. Additionally, designers perform a variety of both complex and non-complex tasks, engaging in analytical problem-solving to understand challenges and actively supporting the delivery of solutions to complex problems where precedent may not exist.
 
Essential Functions:

Conduct user research to understand user needs and inform design decisions. Translate business requirements and user insights into compelling design solutions. Develop user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and detailed interaction designs to effectively communicate solutions. Conduct concept and usability testing, iteratively validating and enhancing design solutions based on user feedback. Create visually compelling designs aligned with company and product brand standards. Actively collaborate within an Agile team, ensuring design feasibility and accurate implementation. Clearly communicate design rationale to stakeholders. Champion user-centered design principles, ensuring human-centric perspectives are incorporated throughout the product development lifecycle. Track user experience metrics and report on the success of UX improvements, leveraging analytics for data-driven decision-making.

 
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic, Digital, or Media Design or a related field is essential, ideally from a Top University Minimum of 3-6 years of experience in User Experience Proven track record of successfully implementing User Experience and initiatives. Portfolio with previous project is a must-have. Proficiency in customer experience platforms and digital collaboration tools proficiency in Figma is a must. Experience with video editing, motion graphics, animation design, and prototyping software is a plus. Proven experience in interaction design, visual design, or user research. Understand Visual Design and Data Visualization as a discipline and a practice. Certification or post-graduate studies from UX will be additional benefit, Strong communication skills with ability to articulate the value of a design choice to users and non-designer stakeholders. Creative problem solving and analytical thinking.  Hands-on experience designing consumer applications for desktop, web, and mobile. Proven experience working in design teams in an Agile product development setting.
