User Experience Designer
DESCRIPTION: Duties: Conceptualize, structure, and detail user experiences within the context of a broader user journey. Design and re-design product experiences across the collections offerings. Participate in upfront user research to better understand user needs and behaviors, and usability testing to see how solutions work for users, with the support and guidance of Experience Researchers. Collaborate with product managers and engineers, involved in prioritization, planning, and decisions along the way to execution. Design products across mobile and web that target specific customer values as well as business goals. Create screen mock-ups, user flows and prototypes to communicate and learn about designs. Create design documentation for the development of customer and employee facing products. Participate in design critiques and peer reviews. Collaborate with product managers, executive and legal, risk, and compliance stakeholders to realize the designs. Detail UI design and build upon the Design System to bring solutions to life. Diagram the interactivity of the product ecosystem, including omnichannel service and feature interactions, with user flows and wireframes. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Design and Technology, Interdisciplinary Visual Arts, Interaction Design, Human Computer Interface, User Experience Design, or related field of study plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or as User Experience Designer, Product Manager, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Design and Technology, Interdisciplinary Visual Arts, Interaction Design, Human Computer Interface, User Experience Design, or related field of study plus 4 years of experience in the job offered or as User Experience Designer, Product Manager, or related occupation. Skills Required: This position requires two (2) years of experience with the following: Interaction Design (IxD); and Visual/UI Design or Information Architecture. This position requires one (1) year of experience with the following: Creating interactive prototypes; Leading discovery efforts to uncover and document current state processes including communications events, account status milestones (such as suspension or closure), payment cycle and posting dates, and payment plan eligibility rules; and participating in upfront user research, contributing to the creation of research read-outs and sharing strategic research insights and artifacts. This position requires experience with the following: Performance data, including entry and enrollment rates; Key performance indicators including net credit loss benefit and drop-off rate; and objective key results for driving planning and prioritization conversations.
