Position Summary...

What you'll do...

We invite you to join the International Supply Chain Team; a fast-moving group of highly motivated individuals with skills ranging from data analytics to strategy and execution. The International Supply Chain is all about making and executing plans that enable International Markets to provide our customers and members with the products they want, where they want them, at the best price possible. To accomplish this, associates must be keen problem solvers, using data and experience to overcome complex challenges and drive efficiency. To support international operations in real-time, we are seeking dedicated individuals in Bentonville, AR.

Responsibilities:

Exceptions Management: Solve shipping companies’ problems (cut and run, itinerary changes, volumes, and allocation/plan commitment)

Discrepancy Reporting: Report PO discrepancies to the Retail Markets and collaborate with the Import Logistics team to resolve issues

Supplier Problem Solving: Address issues such as quantity discrepancies, product readiness, and availability

Weekly Meetings: Conduct weekly meetings with Global Sourcing Managers, suppliers, Ocean Cargo Management companies, and shipping companies to discuss strategy, new programs, and updates in the maritime & air industry

Program Visibility: Provide full visibility to cross-functional teams on program status, volumes, and any deviations from the plan

KPI Maintenance: Keep KPI reports and visibility tools updated for Sourcing Managers, cross-functional teams, and leadership

Touch Base Meetings: Drive touch base meetings for COE, program status review, and supply chain operations

Supplier Training: Provide onboarding training for suppliers at the beginning of each program season

Contingency Planning: Work closely with the international market imports team to develop backup plans and contingency measures to address potential supply chain disruptions

Strategic Support: Support cross-functional teams in developing new strategies, program growth, and new initiatives to drive program success

Experience:

Supply chain & logistics background (maritime, air)

At least 5+ years in the industry

Perishables and reefer experience

Experience working with third-party service providers (shipping companies, 3PLs)

Technical Skills:

Basic knowledge of reporting tools (Microsoft, Tableau, Power Bi)

Advanced English (required)

Soft Skills

Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams within Walmart and external partners

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with constant changes and ambiguity

Strong problem-solving skills and a solutions-oriented mindset

Attention to detail and self-driven

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00-$130,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field and 2 years’ experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or related area OR 4 years’ experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or related area. 2 years’ experience with Microsoft Office.
