The Experiential Marketing Manager reports to the Associate Director of Customer Experience and is responsible for conceptualizing, managing, and executing world-class campaign activations that are visionary, culturally relevant, and positively impact the UO culture and business. These events encompass and support our brand campaigns, product launches, collaborations, and store openings. The Experiential Marketing Manager will oversee the event process from request to execution and work cross functionally with all stakeholders for an organized process and project management.
Role ResponsibilitiesActivations
Develop and lead the execution of branded experiences for Urban Outfitters in partnership with internal creative teams, outside vendors, and cross-functional partners. Produce and lead events from planning to conception, managing a budget and creating a seamless, elevated brand experience. Coordinate the workflow and communication between all parties involved in the various stages of planning including marketing, development, and execution of events. This includes conducting meetings, regular follow-up and providing creative solutions as needed Develop monthly strategy for marketing events as well as ongoing new event concepts. Gather information from divisional leaders and Marketing Managers and ideate unique and on-brand event concepts to compliment UO initiatives Manage the marketing and creative objectives for UO events; create briefs for event projects, communicate updates as timelines progress and provide event recaps that speak to creative execution, foot traffic and sales results Research industry trends + competitor experiential initiatives, drive creative ideation and pitch creative proposals to impact the business and acquire new audiences.Operations & Field Partnership
Strategize concept and KPI’s for event programming, with the objective of developing meaningful on-brand events with evidence of sales increases and foot traffic impact. Develop recap process for all Urban Outfitters events, providing briefs on creative execution, PR and digital awareness, foot traffic, sales impact, and social media impressions Communicate and collaborate with Store Environment and Store Operations teams to be the brand marketing liaison for experiential creative marketing initiatives Collaborate with retail creative leads on opportunities for in-store marketing initiatives that involve store display, pop-up shops, events, and more#UrbanOutfitters #LI-EC1 Role Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience desired. Experience: 3-4+ years of experience working for a well-known brand producing compelling events Analytical Understanding Experience translating insights, ideas, and data into campaigns and activations Event Production Experience: Experience creating campaigns that evolve a brand to reach their target audience and retain customers Demonstrated success crafting experiential events in a variety of formats across channels that have made cultural impact Existing relationships with event vendors Budget Management Storytelling Ability: Strength with communicating a compelling brand narrative both written and orally. Ability to brief and inspire internal teams and external partners Communication: Positive, professional, and timely communication with internal cross-functional teams, and external partners Time Management Proactively plans and controls time to efficiently deliver team priorities and meet deadlines. Detail Orientation: Focus on and manage the small details of a task or project to consistently produce high-quality work.
