What you will need:
High School Graduate or equivalent.Current BLS certification.Registered Nurse Aide (CENA) in the State of MI OR successful completion of Anatomy and Physiology College Course OR current enrollment in an accredited nursing program with successful completion of a nursing fundamentals course. Must provide evidence of current nursing program enrollment on an annual basis. Additional certifications considered: EMT/Medical First Responder, Medical Assistant, LPN.Equivalent work experience and/or equivalent training may also be considered.What you will do:
Demonstrates ability to care for the needs of patients in the department.Measures and records all patient intake, vital signs and documents appropriately.Collects urine, sputum and stool specimens and properly. Perform specialty procedures as assigned: wound care, simple splinting, EKG’s, etc.
