 Who is Access Limited Construction?

Access Limited specializes in rockfall mitigation and slope stabilization systems, and is considered to be an industry leader in designing and installing rockfall protection, slope stabilization systems, and performing difficult access drilling throughout the United States.

 

 

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions 

Perform mountain scaling and other high-angle work using ropes, ensuring all safety and operational procedures are strictly followed.Mix ingredients to create compounds, like grout and concreteMove hoses and operate shotcrete or grouting pumpsRead plans, instructions, or specifications and measure, mark, or record openings or distances to perform tasksUse tablets, phones, computers, or other electronic devices for work tasksClean or prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazardsLoad, unload, and identify materials, machinery, or tools, distributing them to the appropriate locations according to project plans or specificationsLubricate, clean, or repair machinery, equipment, or toolsProvide assistance to craft workersPerform other related duties as assigned Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

Must have at least 6 months of construction experienceMust have SPRAT I Certification or significant experience with ropes including safety and operational procedures for scaling mountainsMust have the ability to work and travel extensively, the potential to be away from home weeks on end is high.Desire and ability to learn via computer and on-the-job trainingSafety mindset and ability to read, understand, and follow policies and proceduresStrong verbal and written communication skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent time management skills: proven ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasksStrong problem-solving skillsAbility to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment

Preferred Qualifications:

Possess a valid Class A CDL Experience with Shotcrete and/or Drilling High school diploma or equivalent preferredExperience with operating heavy equipment preferred

 

 

Work Environment

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.  

Climates vary in degrees, in tropical to desert environments.The noise level in the work environment is moderate and hearing protection is often required. Exposure to characteristic construction site dangers.Regular heavy lifting (75lbs+) of construction materials on the job site.
