Abile Group has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Unified Communications Engineer supporting an Intelligence Community Customer.

Responsibilities Reviews and analyzes the existing Unified Communications infrastructure and makes recommendations for enhancementEngineers Unified Communications solutions to meet new requirements and enhancements to existing Unified Communications services to include identifying hardware refresh recommendationsPerforms an AoA for periodic Unified Communications hardware refreshes following all Change Management processesCreates and documents requisite network configurationDesigns and develops communications products and network technologies.Performs design, project management, acceptance testing, and vendor assessment activities.Communicates with internal and external groups to determine communications requirements and prepare engineering specifications to ensure functional requirements are met.Performs product testing and create models and prototypes.Ensures the accuracy and completeness of systems documentation.Helps drive a consistent set of standards for equipment, network protocols, configuration, and operational procedures. Remains current on all regulatory requirements.Helps prepare and maintain communications systems.Duties include designing, developing, installing, and testing system equipment and implementing procedures to make all components operational.Primarily concerned with providing technical expertise, services and solutions revolving around various modes of communication and information transfer, internet, and broadband technologies.Are involved across all aspects of service delivery, from carrying out feasibility exercises and determining connectivity and signal access, to preparing detailed, technical, and operational documentation. QualificationsClearance Required: TS/SCI
Degree and Years of Experience: 8 to 10 years with BS/BA or 6 to 8 years with MS/MA or 3 to 5 years with PhD.
Required Certifications:
Current DoD 8570.1-M IAT Level II certification (i.e., Security+ CE)Desired Certifications:
Professional-level Cisco certifications ITIL Foundations certificationRequired Skills:
