Responsibilities

Seeking a talented and enthusiastic individual who will assist with entering new business submissions, issue renewals, new business, endorsements, and cancellations/nonrenewals using the automated facilities of our systems and other local software programs.  This is the ideal opportunity to learn the insurance industry with regards to workers’ compensation policies.

Key functions include but are not limited to:

 

Enter new business submissions Complete ELR models for underwriters, new and renewal businessIssue new/renewal policies and endorsementsReview and process requests received from agents as directed (i.e. sending loss runs, E-Mod worksheets, etc.)Assist the Core Accounts Supervisor as well as the other underwriters Qualifications Current college student (and or recent graduate) working towards a degree program in business, finance, insurance, risk management or Marketing/Sales.Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.Must be willing to work collaboratively and embrace innovative ideas and processes.Must be technology focused and proficient in the use of a computer and its applications Additional Company Details We do not accept any unsolicited resumes from external recruiting agencies or firms.
