Summary:

Lake Mary location seeking licensed and experienced Underwriter for Back End processing. The Underwriter processes home changes and cancellations, creates accord forms/evidence of insurance and ensures applications/documents are received prior to submitting to carriers.  We represent over 50 carriers for personal lines insurance.

Remote position with 220 or 2044 license.

What You'll Do

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Must have comprehensive knowledge of property and casualty insurance in the state of Florida and be familiar with property insurance policies, coverage and guidelinesReviews files, collects missing documents, signatures and all requirements to complete and bind a policyEnsures all required documents are provided to process changes per carrier requirementsProcesses mortgage changes and processes changes to dwelling and other home coverages, adding and removing credits; processes cancellations What's in it For You?

Minimum Qualifications, Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or GED Have excellent technical and communication skillsHave the ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environmentSuperior organizational skills a must

2044 or 220 Insurance License required
