Job Summary
The Ultrasound Technologist Clinics performs diagnostic ultrasound examinations in an outpatient clinical setting to assist healthcare providers in evaluating and treating patients. This role requires proficiency in sonographic imaging, independent judgment, and a focus on patient safety and comfort. The Ultrasound Technologist Clinics ensures compliance with imaging protocols and clinical standards while maintaining a professional and patient-centered environment.
Essential Functions
Qualifications
Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology, Ultrasound Technology, or a related field required Bachelor's Degree in Radiologic Sciences preferred 1-3 years of clinical experience as an Ultrasound Technologist required 2-4 years of clinical experience in outpatient or clinical imaging settings preferredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
Proficiency in performing sonographic imaging in an outpatient clinical setting. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology relevant to diagnostic sonography. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare teams. Attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accuracy in imaging and documentation. Commitment to patient confidentiality and adherence to ethical standards. Ability to work independently and make informed decisions within the scope of practice.Licenses and Certifications
(S) - ARDMS or ARRT - Sonography required BCLS - Basic Life Support obtained within 7 days of employment required
