Summary: Provides health care services apply sonic energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment. Performs ultrasonic imaging and related procedures in one of the following areas: OB/GYN, abdomen, small parts and vascular. Demonstrate anatomy for interpretation and/or intervention by or at the request of a licensed practitioner. Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complementary to medical ethics. Applies appropriate patient care and recognized patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure. A demeanor complementary to medical ethics. Education: Satisfactory completion of an ultrasound training program.
Licensure: ARDMS in Abdomen and OB/GYN or Vascular
Experience: Prior experience preferred in performing abdomen, small parts and OB/GYN or Vascular exams.

· Anatomy & physiology
· Ability to recognize subtle differences between health and pathological areas.
· Computer skills
· Ability to operate all ultrasound equipment
· Manage patient during Ultrasound exam
· Proper Quality assurance
· Maintain information confidential (HIPAA)
· Demonstrated customer service skills
· Ability to utilize responsive customer service shills when interacting and taking into consideration cultural background, linguistic skills and age of customers
· Ability to work cooperatively with peers and other disciplines
· Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with peers and other interdisciplinary teams
Working Conditions, Physical Environment and/or Safety Requirements: Visual acuity and hand dexterity. Physical ability involves variety of body movements including stooping, bending, kneeling lifting, standing, walking, twisting, stretching and reaching. Physical ability involves pushing, pulling and lifting more than 30 lbs.
