Visit dignityhealth.org/northridgehospital for more information. **Ultrasound Tech - Ultrasonography** **Northridge Hospital Medical Center** **Northridge Hospital Medical Center** is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented **Ultrasound Technician** to join our **Ultrasonography Dept** . As an **Ultrasound Technician** , you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and ensuring accurate and timely diagnostic images. **Responsibilities** + Conduct ultrasound examinations on patients following established protocols. + Adjust and operate ultrasound equipment to obtain optimal images. + Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures. + Analyze and interpret ultrasound images, providing preliminary findings to healthcare providers. + Collaborate with radiologists and other medical professionals to discuss imaging results. + Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. + Calibrate and maintain ultrasound equipment to ensure functionality. + Stay current with advancements in ultrasound technology and procedures. **Qualifications** + A minimum of 1 year experience in a hospital/acute care setting or satisfactory completion of a full rotation at Northridge Hospital ultrasound department within the last year required. + Satisfactory completion of formal Ultrasound technology training in an AMA approved school; AA degree in Ultrasound Technology in an AMA approved school required. + Computer skills required. + Current ARDMS required. + Current Basic Life Support certification required. + Must have LA City Fire Card within 90 days of hire. **This position is represented by SEIU-UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.** **Pay Range** $57.54 - $68.95 /hour We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
