This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and experience by working as a UKAS Calibration Technician. In this role, you will be performing calibrations to ISO17025 standard on various Druck products and providing updates on progress to leaders and/or customers. Extensive training will be supplied in one or more of our areas of calibration, including pressure, electrical, mass, temperature, and humidity. This role will be best suited for someone looking to develop technical expertise and grow alongside the Druck Service team.
As a UKAS Calibration Technician, you will be responsible for:
Calibrating of customer equipment in calibration laboratory
Calibrating of customer equipment on customer sites (vehicle and accommodation provided by the company when necessary)
Completing internal and external training and gain experience with the aim of becoming a UKAS approved signatory
Managing of Accredited and Non-Accredited Calibrated reference equipment
Pre/Post checks on reference equipment
Ensuring timely Calibration of reference equipment
Operation of and adherence to procedures defined within the quality manual
Supporting Internal & External audits of ISO17025 activities
Supporting the resolution of audit findings and non-conformances
Supporting addressing customer enquiries

To be successful in this role you will:
Have higher education accreditation(s) or the equivalent technical job experience with qualifications and/or experience in calibration
Have process/software/instrument validation expertise would be an advantage
Demonstrate excellent interpersonal capabilities with the ability to balance multiple tasks with different priorities
Have excellent self-motivational skills
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Be independent and self-sufficient and able to work without close supervision.
Have MS office experience including intermediate level MS-Excel and IT system literate
Be familiar with SAP or similar ERP system would be an advantage
Non-Negotiable hiring criteria:
Based within commutable distance to Groby, Leicester, UK
Hold a UK work permit/passport and not require future sponsorship
Must hold valid UK Driver’s License
Good understanding / technical knowledge of physical Calibration (Temperature, Humidity, Pressure, Electrical, Mass)
Proficient in English
This job is 100% onsite, flexible hours are available upon request (subject to Manager's discretion)

Monday – Wednesday: 0730-1630hrs
Thursday: 0730-1600hrs
Friday: 0730-1300hrs
