Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
Position Description: We are looking for an experienced Automation tester to join our team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about coding and testing scalable and high-performance applications.
• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Core Java, Selenium, and Rest Assured for functional, regression, and API testing.
• Create and manage test plans, test cases, and test data in collaboration with development teams and other stakeholders.
• Integrate test automation scripts into the CI/CD pipeline (using tools like Jenkins, Git, Maven, etc.).
• Perform end-to-end testing of web applications and REST APIs, ensuring high-quality releases.
• Troubleshoot issues with test scripts and the applications being tested.
• Perform performance testing for API services using Rest Assured and other performance testing tools.
• Document test results, log defects, and follow through on issue resolution with development teams.
• Ensure the automation test scripts follow coding standards and best practices.
• Work closely with developers to design, develop, and execute the automated tests in parallel with development work.
• Continuously identify and implement improvements to testing processes and frameworks.
• Participate in Agile development sprints, attending daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
o Experience on REST Assured API Automation.
o experience on Rest Assured -Mocking / Services
o Good to have experience in Banking domain
o Hands-on experience UI Automation – BDD Cucumber, Java, Selenium
o Hands-on SQL experience in data validation & verification using SQL
o Hands-on experience JIRA – JTMF Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
o Strong communication and collaboration skills
